Former 3 piece classic rock band now a 4 piece seeking a singer/frontman. Band members ages are 38-50, but anyone is welcome to call. We've been together about 8 years. Some of the artists that we cover are AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Bush, Deep Purple, Janes Addicition, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Neil Young, Oasis, Rage, Seether, ZZ Top and many more. Our current folder is about 70 songs. The drummer and guitar player currently cover the singing duties, but would like to concentrate more on playing. Practice is once a week on the weekend and we're only looking to gig once or twice a month. We all have regular jobs, and we're not looking to make it big. (if that doesn't scare you, read on), Know a million pop, and not so, songs 50's on up although things get a bit fuzzy after 1990. Looking for working cover wedding/corporate type duo, trio or band. My influences vary from beatles to Django Rheinhart to Bob Marley, Memphis soul, and beyond. I love it all. I am very laid back and flexible. Drummer looking to join or form a band. 20 years experiance, good equipment, Blah Blah Blah. Lets cut to the chase. Please read the following list of requirements. These are not negotiable
1) You should have a sense of humor and there should be chemistry between us. I really don't want to play with people I don't like.
2) You should have equipment and a ride to practice. Please don't ask cause I've seen it.
3) You should have some sort of work ethic which means if we are gonna learn these 3 songs then learn them.
4) You should want to play for the sake of playing, not to get rich, laid or out of your parents house.
5) You should NOT be looking to rule the world, tour the world or otherwise make a career out of this. I have 1 job and that's enough. i'm not looking to play the shitty bars of Ohio tour in a greasy Chevy van. This is for fun.

Now for what is negotiable. Style of music, some form of rock however I don't want to do Clutch, Killswitch Engaged, Tool, Chevelle etc. its not that they arnt great bands or that I don't like there music, but if thats what I wanted to do, I would join one of the 20 bands already doing it. I'm thinking more along the lines of AC/DC, Zeppelin, Sabbath, Early 80's Hair band stuff, if your around 40 you'll know what I mean. Again that part is negotiable.
Make up of the band. I don't care if we have a stand up upright bass playing midget and a 8 foot tall female lead singer. As long as it sounds cool, thats fine.
