Yard Laborer maintains, organizes, and secures yard site. Key responsibilities include loading/unloading materials, operating equipment as required, managing inventory, and performing general maintenance while adhering to safety protocols. This is a physically demanding role.
Essential Job Functions/Requirements:
• Loading and unloading trucks/trailers, moving materials, and organizing inventory in racks, bins, or designated areas.
• Keep yard clean and organized
• Pressure washing equipment
• Operating equipment.
• Inspecting returned equipment, performing basic cleaning, and reporting damage.
• Maintaining a clean and safe yard, which may include cleaning and basic repairs.
• Following all company and OSHA safety regulations while operating heavy equipment in and out of Shop.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Ability to lift heavy objects and engage in manual labor (lifting, loading, unloading) throughout the shift.
• Regular, all-day work indoors/outdoors, exposed to heat, cold, rain, dust, and noise.
• Prior experience in Yard work is helpful but not required.
• Ability to operate machinery (e.g., large forklifts)
• Basic knowledge of hand tools
• Strong organization skills a MUST.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a TEAM environment.
• A thorough understanding and commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
• A valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and other physical activities for extended periods of time
• Ability to be self-directed, with minimal supervision
• Self-motivated and can work alone
• HS Diploma or Equivalent
