This is a Behringer VC-340 Vocoder and string machine, which is a clone of the Roland VP-330 Vocoder Plus from 1979. It has a 37-key keyboard. Excellent for your "robot voice" impression and cheesy 70's strings and 'vocal choir" effects. Also included is a Behringer BC-110 dynamic microphone (to provide vocal input) and a cheap boom mic stand from Amazon. Just a couple extras I bought when I got this unit, and I don't have any use for them so they're freebies with purchase!
If you want to hear how it sounds, I recommend MrFirechild's videos on Youtube.
Why am I selling?
Because I got suckered in by Youtube videos and thinking I could make some sounds/music like that. I was wrong. I've only used it for a few hours, and it is in like-new condition, with its original packaging and accessories.
Asking Price:
I'm asking $250, I bought it in mid 2023 and it's spent almost all of that time in its box. It's currently listing new for around $550-600. If you want to flip it and resell, go for it, I don't care. I'd prefer to sell cheaply so someone who's interested can get into the hobby without spending a lot.
