"Pravda: Organ of the Central Committee of the Soviet Union Communist Party." The only news outlet in modern times more biased than CNN. Reminder that the US Media is Pure Democratic Party Propaganda
And why Trump job approval polls are worthless!
We have a clear example of just how anonymous government leakers team up with the pro-Democrat media
(-resist-) to push phony narratives designed to damage the Trump administration. Via Roger Simon of PJ Media:
The latest, at this typing, is that Jared Kushner is under investigation by the FBI. Here's the headline at CNN of an article signed by no less than four authors (it takes a village) -- Evan Perez, Pamela Brown, Shimon Prokupecz and Gloria Borger: "FBI Russia investigation looking at Kushner role."
Who leaked that and what did they tell them about the president's son-in-law? Has Jared been selling us out to Putin? It certainly sounds that way.
Is it as bad as it sounds? Not at all. Via the CNN piece, should you actually choose to read it as opposed to simply seeing the blaring headline on social media and running with that:
Points of focus that pertain to Kushner include: the Trump campaign's 2016 data analytics operation; his relationship with former national security adviser Michael Flynn; and Kushner's own contacts with Russians, according to US officials [i. e. leakers] briefed on the probe.
There is no indication Kushner is currently a target of the probe and there are no allegations he committed any wrongdoing.
The bolded and bracketed parts are Simon's, but they're important. There's not even an allegation that Kushner committed any wrongdoing.
But the headline of the WaPo article is designed to make you believe otherwise.
"Why would the FBI be 'looking at' him if he did no wrong?!"
This whole Kushner thing is a ginned-up, innuendo-driven smear campaign designed to convince you that there is a lot of smoke here, so there must be some fire.
Because there is no fire at all in this Russia witch hunt, the media and the anonymous leakers -- Simon aptly described their relationship as akin to junkie and drug dealer -- simply manufacture a lot of smoke. Then the cable news media announces in serious tones that the Trump administration is engulfed in crisis, neglecting to mention that this "crisis" is entirely manufactured by the media itself in conjunction with agenda-pushing anonymous leakers.
It's like that South Park episode where they lampoon global warming and the media fabricates this massive, devastating catastrophe that hasn't actually happened:
Reporter: "We're not sure what, exactly, is going on in the town of Beaverton, Tom. But we're reporting that there is looting, raping and yes, even acts of cannibalism."
News Anchor: "My God, you've -- you've actually seen people looting, raping and eating each other?!"
Reporter: "Uh, no, we haven't actually seen it, Tom -- we're just reporting it."
So you're saying there's proof Trump colluded with Vladimir Putin to steal the US Presidency?! My God.
"No, we're just reporting it. We have no evidence whatsoever. We're just reporting it."
It's also important to remember that 80% of media coverage of Trump has been negative:
And, furthermore, the Democratic outlets (which absurdly claim to be nonpartisan) are even more overwhelmingly negative:
Fox News: fair and balanced after all.
CNN: 93% negative coverage of Trump. I'm not even kidding when I say this: in the history of modern news media, perhaps only the Soviet Union's state-run newspaper Pravda has been more biased in its coverage than CNN. NBC news is right there, too, as are CBS and the New York Times.
Our "mainstream" "press" is a propaganda factory and nothing more.
When Bob Woodward said the other day the media was "binge-drinking the anti-Trump Kool-Aid," he was understating it. The media is mainlining the anti-Trump Kool-aid.
And this is why even opinion/job-approval polls for Trump are worthless: people form their opinions by watching the news and consuming stories from one of the above media outlets.
If 80% of all media coverage of Trump is negative -- and the number is even higher if you exclude Fox News -- then why is it any surprise that most Americans feel negatively about Trump's presidency.
