Stark Welding 220 volt heavy duty spot welder on a shop built stand with a foot pedal operation for electrode clamping/positioning.
It was lightly used in our arts and crafts business and I found that it’s handy to be able to clamp the work together and vary the clamp force and work position before triggering the weld operation with the manual switch.
There is also a pair of new replacement electrode tips, a dressing file, and an Allen wrench for adjusting the arms and contact alignment. It has a 20 foot cord with a 220 volt 15 amp style plug (see pics for plug configuration).
Welding capacity is mild steel or stainless steel up to 1/8” in combined thickness. For galvanized steel it’s two 20 gauge sheets.
It takes up floor space about 20” wide by 30” deep and is about 48” total height. The cart was shop built and rigged so that we could clamp the electrodes to the work piece by stepping on a foot pedal and then operate the manual switch by hand. It’s a little bit jury-rigged, but it works great. I did wire up an extension lead that can be used for a remote or automatic switch, but I never needed it.
You could easily take the welder off the stand if you want it to be portable.
